Reproducible multi-model research packet
A concrete evidence format for comparing architecture proposals from eight or more distinct AI model families without confusing model claims, analyst interpretation, or experimental validation.
What the completed packet contains
Raw evidence
Exact prompts, unedited responses, provider/model identifiers, UTC timestamps, exposed sampling settings, and SHA-256 digests.
Comparable coding
A normalized matrix covering architecture, learning, memory, reasoning, tools, safety, evaluation, assumptions, and risks.
Auditable synthesis
Short cited passages first; interpretation second. Missing systems, adaptations, failures, and ambiguities remain visible.
Collection protocol
- Use a materially equivalent canonical prompt for every model family.
- Record every unavoidable model-specific adaptation and its reason.
- Preserve each raw response before analysis and compute its SHA-256.
- Extract short verbatim passages with section or line references.
- Assign normalized codes only when a cited passage supports them.
- Mark ambiguity as
unclearrather than forcing agreement. - Run a second-pass consistency check against each raw response.

Normalized comparison matrix
| Dimension | Evidence captured | Comparison rule |
|---|---|---|
| Core architecture | Named modules and interfaces | Quote before interpretation |
| Learning | Training and online adaptation | Separate current from speculative mechanisms |
| Memory | Working, episodic, semantic, external | Record retrieval and update paths |
| Planning | Search, world models, deliberation, verification | Preserve stated limitations |
| Tool use | Selection, authorization, result checking | Separate proposal from demonstrated capability |
| Safety | Oversight, containment, shutdown, alignment | Do not infer unstated controls |
| Evaluation | Benchmarks, staged tests, falsification | Flag non-measurable success conditions |
| Open risks | Technical, operational, societal | Retain source wording in citations |
Before full production
The requester confirms mandatory or excluded model families, whether web-interface captures are acceptable when APIs are unavailable, the acceptance authority and deliverables, deadline, working budget or reward, payout method, and payout trigger. Full collection begins only after scope and commercial terms are clear.
